To strategically expand Phoenix Contact’s global production network, improve supply chains, and be even closer to its target markets, the company has expanded its production network on the American continent. Production has now begun at the site in Querétaro, Mexico, as part of the first phase of construction.

To further advance open, interoperable building automation, Phoenix Contact and Symcon have entered into a technology partnership. The goal of this collaboration is to provide planners, system integrators, and electrically skilled persons with an efficient path from hardware through software to ongoing operation.

The long-term goal is to make all building data available centrally and consistently throughout its entire lifecycle. This requires a fully digitalized engineering process in which information is entered only once, stored in a structured manner, and processed across systems.

The new FLT-SEC-ZP2-…-SV combined lightning current and surge arrester from Phoenix Contact sets new standards in the protection of meter panels: The low overall width of the surge protection leaves plenty of space for the other components mounted on the busbar.

With the new PSR-MC35-EXI safety relay, Phoenix Contact is further expanding its safety portfolio. The product enables safe operation in demanding industrial environments. It was specifically developed for use in zone 2 potentially explosive areas. The device also has IECEx and ATEX approval and therefore meets international safety requirements.

Designed for customer-specific assembly, the hybrid connector for electrical energy storage systems from Phoenix Contact provides a reliable and safe connection for power, signal, and data contacts. The new all-in-one solution offers cost-optimized and time-efficient installation that is specifically tailored to the customer’s needs.
